The sun has appeared above the courts of the SWATCH-FIVB Beach Volley World Tour St. Petersburg Open held at the Peter and Paul Fortress, and more spectators have come to see the matches that are becoming tougher and tougher.

The match between the Brazilian team Fabio Luiz – Marcio Araujo and Mihail Kouchnerev – Vyacheslav Makhortov of Russia has just finished at the central court. For now this match can be called the most interesting and tense tournament performance that featured powerful servers, skillful blocks, and complex combinations – all this being spectacularly performed for the audience. The first set turned out to be very successful for the Russian pair, they easily overplayed their opponents.
