Thursday afternoon featured numerous interesting matches.

Thursday afternoon featured numerous interesting matches. The Russian team Koshkarev – Prokopiev along with such masters of beach volley as Emanuel Rego – Ricardo Santos and Conde – Baracetti entered the second round of the Main Draw. Besides, the most important matches of the first round are yet to be played. That is Franco – Cunha of Brazil is going to compete with the Kublas – Pavlas team from the Czech Republic. Ironically, two Russian pairs will play on court Bogatov – Dayanov and Barsouk – Kolodinsky.

As the women’s matches are becoming closer to the finals, the games are getting more fascinating. First matches leading to the semifinals will be played this afternoon later to be continued tomorrow August, 31. Unfortunately, the Russian team Uryadova – Shiryaeva is out of this round and are going to participate in a match for the 9th spot.
