Dear friends!

I am glad to welcome to our city participants and guests of the Swatch FIVB Beach Volleyball World Series St. Petersburg Open.
It has already become a tradition in St. Petersburg to welcome the world’s strongest volleyball players. Beach volleyball competitions of this scope are taking place in our city for the third time. This year the tournament will combine the summer and autumn seasons and will definitely serve as an example of the healthy way of life to our youth.
Beach volleyball is the only open-air competition in St. Petersburg that takes place in the very city center. It is a real festivity for residents and guests of the Northern capital.
I am sure that this tournament will take place at a highest possible level.
