"St. Petersburg Open. Sport Management & Marketing" invites you to the Beach Volleyball SWATCH-FIVB World Tour 2006 series, which will take place at the beach of Peter - and - Paul Fortress on July 19 - 23.
The World Tour Beach Volleyball series first came to St. Petersburg in 2005. After the Goodwill Games of 1994, it was the first global beach Volleyball competition in St. Petersburg. 131 teams from 30 countries participated in the competition.
The matches were broadcast daily via "NTV+Sport" satellite channel, while the "Eurosport" covered the semifinal and final matches. This year the amount of mass media substantially increased.
